ITSG Board Members

CHAIR

Patrick Gallen currently leads the Surveying Strategy and the Workplace Learning programs for Synopsys, Inc.
Patrick joined Synopsys following the acquisition of Cigital, a Software Security Consulting firm in 2016. Patrick has had a varied career working in consulting, software development, training and development, and project management in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Patrick holds a master’s degree in Organization Development from American University.

Patrick is currently striving to support workforce effectiveness, aligning Performance Development, Workplace Analytics, and Modern Workplace Learning Strategies to drive organizational transformation. Patrick has previously served as ITSG Secretary and Vice Chair and resides in Reston, VA.

VICE CHAIR

Ronald Dela Cruz currently serves as the Employee Experience Listening Lead at SAP.

In this role, he oversees the development and implementation of SAP's employee listening strategy, with a focus on driving initiatives to connect experience data across the employee lifecycle and combining these data with operational insights. Through these efforts, Ron generates comprehensive understanding of employee experience and the future of work at SAP.

Originally from the Philippines, Ron has been living in Mannheim, Germany for the past five years. He is an aviation enthusiast, avid traveler, and a foodie.

NORMS CHAIR

Stephanie Andel, Ph.D. leads the Employee Listening Practice at Dell Technologies. In this role, she is responsible for designing and executing Dell’s comprehensive listening strategy, which includes automated lifecycle surveys, ongoing pulse checks, as well as Dell’s annual engagement survey that touches over 130,000 team members. Prior to joining Dell, Stephanie was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis. Her academic research focused on employee engagement and well-being and has been published in journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. Her work has also been featured in several national and international media outlets, including Business Insider, France 24, Channel News Asia, PBS NewsHour, and on the BBC.

Stephanie holds a B.A. in Psychology from Bradley University and a Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida. She currently resides in Tampa, Florida.

RESEARCH CHAIR

Caitie Jacobson is a Behavioral Science Consultant on the People Analytics Team at Dell Technologies, where she leads listening analytics and uses evidence-based research to help HR leadership make informed business decisions. Her background in I-O psychology allows her to focus on the "why" behind the results in order to recommend initiatives that enable people to be happier, healthier, and more productive at work. Caitie has also worked extensively on designing surveys and focus groups as well as led the creation and validation of multiple assessments to ensure they were customized to Dell's Culture Code. Prior to joining Dell, Caitie was an external consultant and shared I-O best practices with clients across a range of industries including food and beverage, technology, gas and electric, public safety, and professional services.

Caitie earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Florida and her master's degree in I-O psychology from San Diego State University (SDSU). She previously served on the Society for Industry Organizational Psychology (SIOP)'s Membership Committee, where she co-chaired the Analytics Subcommittee, as well as the Career Services Committee. Caitie is also a member of Dell's Women in Action Group and served as the inaugural Team Member Experience Pillar Co-Lead for the Chicago Chapter in 2021.

MARKETING CHAIR

Kellie Roberts photoKellie Roberts is the Listening Program Manager at Expedia Group. She earned her Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University.

In her work, Kellie designs employee listening strategy and carries out core processes, from program management to generating insights and analysis to mobilize change and impact.

She has been with Expedia Group since 2021 and lives in Seattle, Washington. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors hiking, XC skiing, trail running, paddleboarding, and volunteering with local non-profits that advocate and protect the wilderness.

TREASURER

Anthony Ariano has been with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (formerly Electronic Data Systems) for over 34 years. He has worked on the company's Global Employee Survey systems, as system developer and as a program manager for over 13 years, and has been a member of ITSG for at least 8 years.

Anthony currently works from his home office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Outside of work, Anthony is a community theatre actor and Boy Scout Leader.

SECRETARY

Robyn Guzman, Ph.D., is the Employee Voice Manager at AMD, where her expertise in Industrial/Organizational Psychology fuels her passion for enhancing workplace experiences. With a rich background as a consultant, she guided clients in optimizing their EX listening programs. Robyn seamlessly navigates the entire program cycle, from establishing governance to deriving actionable insights from data.

Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington and a B.A. from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Robyn is dedicated to leveraging data-driven insights to cultivate positive work environments and foster meaningful employee journeys.

Robyn currently resides in her home state of Texas.
